Upon arrival at Fukuoka Airport, coach transfer to Sakurai Futamigaura (桜井二見ヶ浦), a scenic coastal spot in Itoshima featuring a picturesque torii fate and twin “wedded rocks” in the sea. After, visit the Palm Tree Swing, a whimsical seaside swing framed by palm trees, perfect for photos against the blue sea backdrop. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to Ichiran no Mori (一蘭の森), a unique ramen experience in the forest, home to the original Ichiran Ramen museum and tasting room. Finally, transfer to Karatsu for hotel check-in and enjoy your dinner at the hotel.

Explore this historic seaside castle, also known as “Maizuru-jo”, offering panoramic views of Karatsu Bay and cherry blossoms in season. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Yanagawa River Cruise (柳川川下り). Experience the charm of a traditional donkobune (flat-bottom boat) cruise through serene canals, often referred to as the “Venice of Kyushu”. Continue your journey to Kumamoto and enjoy free time exploring Shimotori and Kamotori Shopping Street (繁華街&歓楽街). Bustling downtown arcades filled with local fashion, food and entertainment. These lively districts are the heart of Kumamoto’s entertainment area and nightlife district. Dinner will be at your own expense, choose from a wide range of local eateries and izakayas. Afterward, transfer to your hotel for check-in and a restful night.

This morning, visit Suizenji Park (水前寺成趣園). A beautiful traditional Japanese landscape garden built to recreate the 53 Stations of the old Tokaido road. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and views of Mt. Fuji recreated in miniature.After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to Takachiho Gorge (高千穂峡). A dramatic, V-shaped gorge carved by the Gokase River. Admire the sheer volcanic cliffs and the majestic Manai Falls cascading into the crystal-clear waters below. Later, transfer to Nobeoka for hotel check in and dinner.

Begin your day with a fun and refreshing Strawberry Picking Experience, taste the sweetness of fresh, locally grown strawberries straight from the farm. After lunch at a local restaurant, journey to Tsukumi Dolphin Island (津久見イルカ島), a family-friendly marine park where you can observe dolphins up close and enjoy interactive performances set against the backdrop of the sea. In the late afternoon, proceed to Beppu for hotel for check in.

After breakfast, enjoy panoramic views on the Beppu Ropeway (別府ロープウェイ) for sweeping views over Beppu and Oita Prefecture. During spring and autumn, the scenery is especially breathtaking. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to Usa Jingu Shrine (宇佐神宮), one of Japan’s most important Shinto shrines and the head shrine of over 40,000 Hachiman shrines nationwide. Set within a tranquil forest, this historic site blends nature, spirituality and architecture. Next, visit Kokura Castle (小倉城), a beautifully reconstructed Edo-period castle surrounded by scenic gardens and moat, located in the heart of Kitakyushu. Finally, transfer to the hotel for check-in and dinner.

This morning, start your day at Miyajidake Shrine (宮地嶽神社), a historic Shinto shrine famous for its massive straw rope and its “Path of Light” where twice a year the sun sets perfectly along the shrine’s main path leading to the sea. But in spring, its 300+ cherry trees create an equally magical pink corridor leading to the sea. After lunch at a local restaurant, experience Fukuoka’s traditional craftsmanship with a Hakata Doll Painting Experience. After that, immerse yourself in Japanese culture with a Kimono Wearing Experience. After dinner at a local restaurant, transfer to the hotel for check-in and dinner.

After breakfast, begin your morning with a visit to Umino Nakamichi Seaside Park (海の中道海浜公園). A sprawling, family oriented public park located on a narrow peninsula across the bay from central Fukuoka. In spring, there are about 2000 cherry trees planted around the lawns and along the cycling trails, which form beautiful cherry blossom tunnels when in bloom. After that, transfer back to hotel. Enjoy your lunch and dinner during your free and easy time in Hakata city.
