After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to Mojiko Port (門司港). A prominent international trading port since the late 19th century, has now been preserved as a tourist destination with Western-style buildings from the Meiji and Taisho Period.On the way, enjoy a scenic stop at the Kanmon Bridge (関門橋), a suspension bridge crossing the Kanmon Strait, a stretch of water separating two of Japan’s
four main islands. The panoramic view of the strait and surrounding cityscape is a perfect photo opportunity. Next, head to Karato Market (唐戸市場), one of the most famous fish markets in Japan. The Karato Market deals with the largest haul of puffer fish in Japan; here you can enjoy freshly prepared puffer fish sold at bargain prices. After that, proceed to a local restaurant for lunch [Sushi Set]. After lunch, continue your journey to Tsunoshima Ohashi Bridge (角島大橋). It connects the westernmost tip of Yamaguchi to the white shores of the picturesque island of Tsunoshima. Later, arrive in Nagoto to visit the spectacular Motonosumi Inari Shrine (元乃隅神社), known for its dramatic seaside location. A striking path of 123 bright red torii gates stretches from the hilltop down to the cliffs, offering breathtaking views of the Sea of Japan. Thereafter, transfer to hotel for check-in and enjoy your dinner [Kaiseki].
Day 4 Nagato – Yamaguchi - Iwakuni 長門- 山口 – 岩国

After breakfast, depart Nagato and travel to Akiyoshido Cave (秋芳洞), Japan’s largest and most spectacular limestone cave, located beneath the Akiyoshidai Plateau. The cave stretches nearly 9 kilometres, with towering limestone walls up to 100 meters wide. Next, have lunch [Soba Set] at a local restaurant. After lunch, continue to Kozan Park “Rurikoji Temple Five-Storied Pagoda” (香山公園). This elegant wooden pagoda, built in the 15th century, is a designated National Treasure of Japan and one of the most beautiful in the country. The surrounding park is especially scenic, with seasonal flowers such as plum blossoms, azaleas, hydrangeas, and cherry trees. Next, transfer to Iwakuni Castle (岩国城), perched on top of Mount Shiroyama. Ride the Iwakuni Ropeway (岩国ロープウェイ) up the mountain and enjoy panoramic views of the city and Seto Inland Sea. The reconstructed castle offers a glimpse into feudal Japan and houses samurai artifacts and historical displays. Conclude your day at the iconic Kintaikyo Bridge (錦帯橋), a stunning wooden arch bridge spanning the Nishiki River. Originally built in the 17th century, the bridge is famed for its five elegant wooden arches and is one of Japan’s top historical bridges. After breakfast, begin your day exploring Hiroshima City. First, visit the modern and symbolic Orizuru Tower (おりづるタワー), located next to the Atomic Bomb Dome. After lunch [Set with Oyster] at a local restaurant, enjoy a fun and seasonal Strawberry Picking Experience at a local farm, where you can pick and taste sweet, juicy strawberries right off the vine. After breakfast, visit the sacred and historical Izumo Taisha Shrine (出雲大社) – one of Japan’s oldest and most important Shinto shrines. Renowned not only for its collection of modern Japanese paintings, but also for its award-winning Japanese garden, ranked among the best in Japan every year since 2003. The gardens are perfectly landscaped to blend with the museum’s art, offering harmony between nature and culture in every season. Finally, transfer to the hotel for check-in and dinner [Kaiseki].
Day 7 Tottori – Izushi – Sanda - Osaka 鳥取 - 三田 - 神戸

After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the famous Tottori Sand Dunes (鳥取砂丘), Japan’s only desert-like landscape.Formed over 100,000 years ago by sand deposits from the Chugoku Mountains carried by the Sendai River, the dunes offer a rare and beautiful coastal environment that changes daily with the wind. Next, transfer to Izushi Castle Town (出石城跡). This once-thriving castle town retains the atmosphere of old Japan, when samurai and wealthy merchants roamed the town. Admire stunning and historic atmosphere from the Edo Period which has been immaculately preserved throughout the centuries. Next, learn how to make your own soba at a local restaurant, which will be part of your lunch [Soba Set]! After lunch, transfer to Sanda and spend some time shopping at Kobe Sanda Premium Outlet (三田プレミアムアウトレット). Dinner will be at your own expense here. After shopping, transfer to Osaka for hotel check-in.
Day 8 Osaka – Awajishima – Osaka 大阪 - 淡路島 - 大阪

After breakfast, visit the world’s longest suspension bridge – Akashi Kaikyo Bridge (明石海峡大橋). Spanning over 4 kilometers, it is part of one of 3 expressways that connect the Honshu and Shikoku regions. You can get close to the bridge from the Maiko Marine Promenade which is a circuit of observatory walkways under the bridge. Next, transfer to Awaji and have lunch at a local restaurant [Hot Pot with Beef]. Following that, visit the Awaji Hanasajiki (あわじ花さじき). A flower park located on Awaji Island that covers over 15 hectares. Various flowers bloom all year round, in March, you can expect to see rapeflowers! Situated on a hill 300 metres above sea level, you will get a panoramic view of Osaka, Kansai region and the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. After that, transfer to Osaka for hotel check in. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure and dinner will be under your own expense.
