Upon arrival at Hakodate Airport, coach transfer to the Hakodate Tropical Botanical Garden (函館市熱帯植物園), a botanical garden rare in Hokkaido, cultivating about 300 species and 3,000 tropical plants, famous for Japanese macaques soaking in hot springs. Next, proceed to Hakodate Merlion (函館マリンモニュメント), an 8.6-metre replica of Singapore’s iconic landmark, symbolizing the long-standing friendship between Hakodate and Singapore. Overlooking Hakodate Bay, the statue serves as a unique cultural link between the two ports. Thereafter, take the bus up to Mt. Hakodate (函館山) to enjoy one of Japan’s most celebrated night views, offering a stunning panorama of the illuminated city framed by the sea on both sides. Finally, transfer to the hotel for check-in and dinner.

Yakumo is widely known as the birthplace of carved wooden bears, a symbol of Hokkaido craftsmanship. After lunch at a local restaurant, proceed to Lake Onuma Quasi-National Park (大沼国定公園). During autumn, vibrant foliage is beautifully reflected on the lake surface, creating a picturesque landscape. Continue to Goryokaku Tower (五稜郭タワー). From the 107-metre observation tower, enjoy a panoramic view of the star-shaped Western-style fort built at the end of the Edo period, along with sweeping views of Mt. Enjoy time for shopping and lunch on your own while exploring the waterfront area. In the afternoon, board the Shinkansen Bullet Train from Shin-Hakodate Hokuto to Shin-Aomori, offering a comfortable and smooth journey of approximately 60 minutes. Upon arrival in Aomori, visit a local orchard to enjoy a seasonal Apple Picking Experience, which is at its peak during autumn. Continue to Hirosaki Castle Park (弘前城公園), one of Japan’s most famous cherry blossom and autumn foliage viewing spots, featuring a historic castle surrounded by moats and maple trees.
