Day 1 Assemble at Changi Airport for Check in

Day 2 Kagoshima 鹿児島

Hotel: Shiroyama Hotel Kagoshima or similar / Western room

Meal: Meal on Board / L / D

Upon arrival at Kagoshima Airport, coach transfer to Sengan-en (仙巌園), a beautiful Japanese garden located at the foot of Sakurajima, a famous active volcano. You can enjoy a scenic tour of the garden, and if the weather permits, you may even catch a glimpse of Sakurajima in the background. Lunch will be served at Sengan-en. Afterwards, try your hand at the Kiriko Glass Keyring Making Experience where you will craft a unique accessory using traditional colored glass. Continue to Kagoshima Castle Ruins Goromon Gate (鶴丸城御楼門) for a photo stop. Destroyed by fire in 1873 and reconstructed in 2020, it now stands as Japan’s largest castle gate. Finally, transfer to the hotel for check-in and dinner.

Day 3 Kagoshima – Yakushima 鹿児島 - 屋久島

Hotel: The Hotel Yakushima Ocean & Forest or similar / Western room

After breakfast, depart for Kagoshima Port and board a ferry to Yakushima. Enjoy scenic ocean views as you sail toward Anbo Port. Upon arrival, head to a local restaurant for lunch. Afterward, visit Yakusugi Land (屋久杉ランド), a forest park featuring ancient cedar trees. Take a 30-minute nature walk along the “Fureai no Dai-ai Course”, where you’ll experience the rich biodiversity and serene forest trails. Finally, transfer to the hotel for check-in and dinner.

Day 4 Yakushima – Ibusuki 屋久島 - 指宿

Hotel: Ibusuki Hakusuikan or similar / Japanese room

After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to Okono Taki Falls (大川の滝), one of Yakushima’s most picturesque waterfalls. Then, travel to Nagata Inakahama (永田いなか浜), a pristine, 1-km beach known as a nesting site for sea turtles. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before transferring to Miyanoura Port for your ferry ride to Ibusuki. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in and dinner. Tonight, unwind with Ibusuki’s famous sand steam bath, a traditional wellness experience where you are gently buried in naturally heated sand.

Day 5 Ibusuki – Izumi – Yatsushiro – Kumamoto 指宿 - 出水 - 八代 - 熊本

After breakfast, transfer to Izumi Station and board the Hisatsu Orange Railway (肥薩おれんじ鉄道). Enjoy a unique dining experience on the Orange Restaurant Train as you take in coastal views en route to Shin-Yatsushiro Station. Upon arrival, visit Sakuranobaba Josaien (桜の馬場 城彩苑), a traditional area offering a glimpse into the history of the region. Stroll through Shimotori Shopping Street (下通り商店街) for local souvenirs and snacks. Dinner tonight is on your own, choose from the city’s wide variety of restaurants before checking into your hotel.

Day 6 Kumamoto – Takachiho Gorge 熊本 - 高千穂峡

Hotel: Solest Takachiho Hotel or similar / Western room

Meal: B / L / D

Start your day at Aso Milk Factory “Rose Garden” (阿部牧場“花遊び”), home to one of Japan’s largest rose domes. Enjoy lunch at the onsite restaurant. Next, head to Daikanbo Lookout (大観峰), a popular observation deck offering sweeping views of the Mount Aso caldera and Kuju Mountain Range. After checking in to your hotel, walk to nearby Takachiho Shrine to experience a Kagura Performance at Kaguraden. Afterward, return to the hotel for a restful night.

Day 7 Takachiho – Oita - Beppu 高千穂 - 大分 - 別府

Hotel: Suginoi Hotel or similar / Western room

Meal: B / L / D

After breakfast, depart for the stunning Takachiho Gorge (高千穂峡), known for its towering basalt cliffs and the Manai Falls. Continue to Oita and visit Kuju Winery (久住ワイナリー) for wine tasting and a vineyard lunch. Next, explore Umeshugura Oyama (梅酒蔵おおやま), a distillery renowned for producing umeshu (plum wine) using local ume fruits. Afterward, transfer to your hotel in Beppu for check-in and dinner.

Day 8 Beppu – Fukuoka 別府 - 福岡

Hotel: Hotel New Otani Hakata or similar / Western room

This morning, head to Kama City for a HYGGE Experience, a serene activity inspired by the Danish concept of cozy comfort. Learn how to chop wood, build a bonfire, and toast marshmallows in the peaceful Kama Forest. Enjoy a rustic Pizza Lunch amidst the tranquil surroundings of the mountains and fields. Thereafter, transfer to the hotel for check in and the rest of the evening is free at your leisure. Dinner will be under your own arrangement.

Day 9 Fukuoka – Singapore 福岡 - 新加坡
