Day 1 Assemble at Changi Airport for Check in

Day 2 Nagoya – Takayama 名古屋- 高山

Hotel: Takayama Green Hotel or similar / Western room

Meal: Meal on Board / L / D

Upon arrival at Chubu Centrair International Airport, coach transfer to Nagoya and board the Kiso River Cruise “Ukai Cormorant Fishing” (木曽川鵜飼い). This centuries-old fishing method, known as ukai, uses trained cormorants to catch ayu (sweetfish) and is a treasured tradition kept alive along the Kiso River. Enjoy a relaxing lunch [Japanese Set] as you watch this fascinating spectacle against the scenic backdrop of Inuyama Castle. Continue to Takayama for hotel check-in and dinner [Japanese Kaiseki].

Group 2: Alternative Itinerary (If Kiso River Cruise is Unavailable)
Visit the historic Kakukyu Hacchō Miso Factory (カクキュウ八丁味噌), famous for its traditional wooden-vat brewing techniques. Lunch will be served on site. Afterwards, explore the Nagaragawa Ukai Museum (長良川うかいミュージアム) to learn about the heritage and history of cormorant fishing along the Nagara River.

Day 3 Takayama – Shirakawago – Kanazawa 高山 - 白川郷 - 金沢

Hotel: Hotel Nikko Kanazawa or similar / Western room

After breakfast, proceed to Takayama Morning Market (朝市). This market has stands that sell local crafts, snacks and farm produce such as vegetables, pickles and flowers. The next destination is Takayama Old Town (旧市街). The Takayama old town has been beautifully preserved with many buildings and whole streets of houses dating from the Edo Period. After that, transfer to Shirakawago and proceed for lunch [Beef Tobanyaki] at local restaurant. Next, take a stroll around Shirakawago Village (白川郷) on your own. Declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1995, they are famous for their traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouses, some of which are more than 250 years old. Following that, transfer to Kanazawa and visit the Kenrokuen Japanese Garden (兼六園). Classified as one of Japan’s 3 most beautiful landscape gardens, it used to be part of Kanazawa Castle and features a variety of flowering trees that provides a different look for each season. Finally, transfer to the hotel for check in. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Buffet] at the hotel restaurant.

Day 4 Kanazawa – Noto Peninsula 金沢 - 能登半島

Hotel: Granvrio Hotel Unazuki Onsen or similar / R.O.H.

After breakfast, visit 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art (金沢21世紀美術館), home to thought-provoking installations by artists from around the world. Continue to Noto Peninsula and experience the scenic Chirihama Nagisa Driveway (千里浜なぎさドライブウェイ), Japan’s only beach where cars can drive directly on the sand. Visit Keta Shrine (気多大社), a sacred site for blessings in love and relationships before enjoying a special lunch [Naorai Japanese Set]. Then, admire the coastal beauty of Amaharashi Kaigan (雨晴海岸), offering spectacular views of the Tateyama Mountains. Finally, transfer to Unazuki Onsen for hotel check-in and dinner [Buffet].

Day 5 Unazuki Onsen – Tateyama – Omachi Onsen 宇奈月温泉 - 立山 - 大町温泉

Hotel: Ryokusuitei Keisui or similar / Japanese room

After breakfast, embark on the famous Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route (立山黒部アルペンルート), a breathtaking journey through the Northern Japan Alps, connecting Toyama and Nagano. Traverse a series of scenic transports including cable cars and trolley buses, and marvel at the spectacular Snow Wall at Murodo and the towering Kurobe Dam, Japan’s tallest arch dam.

Enjoy lunch en route [Chicken Rice Bowl] before arriving at Ogizawa Station to transfer to Omachi Onsen for hotel check-in and dinner [Japanese Kaiseki].

Day 6 Omachi Onsen – Nagano – Karuizawa 大町温泉 - 長野 - 軽井

Hotel: Hotel Marroad Karuizawa or similar / Western room

After breakfast, transfer to Nagano and visit Zenkoji Temple Naijin Area(善光寺). One of the most important and popular Buddhist temples in Japan, it was instrumental in shaping Nagano into a temple town. After lunch [Soba Noodle Set] at a local restaurant, proceed to Oni Oshidashien (鬼押出し園). The park features a unique landscape of volcanic rocks that gives it a rugged appearance. On clear days, you will be able to see nearby towns and Mt. Asama. Within the park is a temple dedicated to the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy Kannon. Next, visit Shiraito Waterfall (白糸の滝). Aptly translated to ‘the waterfall of white threads’, the 3m tall and 70m wide waterfall is described to flow like a white curtain with multiple streaks of water draping over the surface. Thereafter, stroll the streets of Karuizawa Town and Prince Shopping Plaza. During your free and easy time, explore the resort town or spend some time shopping. Finally, transfer to hotel for check-in and dinner [Western Course].

Day 7 Karuizawa – Utsukushigahara – Tokyo 軽井 - 美ヶ原 - 東京

Hotel: Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba or similar / Western room

After breakfast, transfer to Utsukushigahara Open Air Museum (美ヶ原高原美術館).The plateau has over 200 varieties of wildflowers blooming in summer and offers panoramic view of the Japan Alps, Mt. Asama, Mt. Fuji and Yatsugatake. The expansive museum without walls houses over 350 contemporary sculptures which stand amongst the great beauty of nature. Have lunch [Western Course] at a local restaurant before heading for a Cherry Picking Experience, which is perfect in summer! Thereafter, transfer to Tokyo for hotel check-in. The rest of the evening will be free and easy, and dinner will be under your own expense.

Day 8 Tokyo - Singapore 東京 - 新加坡
