Upon arrival at Memanbetsu Airport, coach transfer to Lake Notoro (能取湖) “Coral Grass”. The massive saltwater lake turns a bright shade of crimson in fall due to the unique aquatic plant that locals call coral grass. Next, transfer to the hotel for check in. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Kaiseki] at the hotel restaurant.

After breakfast, we will visit Engaru Taiyo no Oka Park (太陽の丘えんがる公園)✿ “Cosmos”. Each year, over 10 million cosmos and other flowers bloom in this park that looks like a scene out of a Studio Ghibli movie. After that, enjoy lunch [Japanese Ozen] at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will visit the Engaru Town Buried Cultural Properties Centre (遠軽町埋蔵文化財センター). The town was recognized as a Geopark in 2010 as it is one of the largest production areas of obsidian in Japan. The museum introduces the crystal, the lives of people from over 20,000 years ago, as well as the stone tools excavated from the Shirataki archaeological sites. Following that, visit the Taushubetsu Observation Deck (タウシュベツ展望台).The Taushubetsu Bridge is an arched bridge made of concrete built over Lake Nukabira and is often referred to as a phantom bridge. This is due to water levels rising from June to October which causes the bridge to be submerged and resurface again in January when the water level decreases. Finally, transfer to the hotel for check in. Tonight, dinner [Course Menu] will be served at the hotel.

This morning, have an early breakfast before you catch the sunrise on the Hot Air Balloon Experience in Tokachigawa Onsen. At the top, you can look over the gorgeous pastoral landscape, Tokachigawa River, Tokachi Plains and the Daisetzuan Mountain Range looming in the distance. Head back to the hotel for a short rest before we visit Manabe Garden (真鍋庭園). Famed as Japan’s first coniferous garden, it consists of hundreds of species of imported trees from Northern Europe, Canada and other countries. Some of the trees are even older than Hokkaido! Here, there are various gardens such as the Japanese garden, Western garden and landscaped garden. You might even see Ezo squirrels too! Next, head to Ryuetsu Sweetpia Garden (柳月スイートピア・ガーデン.), a confectionery theme park with a factory. Afterwards, we will have lunch [Sukiyaki] at a local restaurant.

Finally, we will proceed to the hotel for check in and the rest of the day is free at your own leisure. Dinner will be under your own arrangement.

Today, let’s start our day with an inspiring morning at Unkai Terrace (雲海テラス), nestled within the dynamic sea of clouds. Unkai Terrace, located at Tomamu Resort, offers close-up views of the breathtaking passing sea of clouds, a phenomenon visible only under specific weather conditions. Thereafter, transfer to Furano and enjoy your lunch [Buffet] at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will have a Lavender Pillow Making Experience before you visit Farm Tomita (ファーム富田）✿, one of Hokkaido’s most popular flower fields. In bloom this season are flowers such as violets, poppies, hyacinths and more. After which, we will transfer to the hotel for check in. Enjoy Ningle Terrace, a collection of boutique cottages with cafes and shops selling local arts and crafts, at your own leisure before dinner [Buffet] at the hotel restaurant.

GRP2:
Today, let’s start our day with a visit to Bear Mountain (サホロベアムンテン). Japan’s first brown bear safari in Hokkaido which allows visitors to see Hokkaido’s representative wild animals, the Ezo brown bears, up close and safely. Thereafter, transfer to Furano and enjoy your lunch [Buffet] at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will have a Lavender Pillow Making Experience before you visit Farm Tomita (ファーム富田）, one of Hokkaido’s most popular flower fields. In bloom this season are flowers such as violets, poppies, hyacinths and more. After which, we will transfer to the hotel for check in. Enjoy Ningle Terrace, a collection of boutique cottages with cafes and shops selling local arts and crafts, at your own leisure before dinner [Buffet] at the hotel restaurant.

Hotel: Art Hotel Asahikawa or similar / Western room

After breakfast, we will visit Flowerland Kamifurano (フラワーランドかみふらの) ✿. The large flower garden has flora blooming from May to September. During your visit, dahlias, zinnias, marigolds and more, will be blooming at their peak. After that, enjoy lunch [Western-style meal] at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will visit Shikisai no Oka (四季彩の丘) ✿. Translating to Four Seasons Hill, the large garden on a hill is filled with rows of flowers such as lupine, lavender, salvia, sunflowers and more. Following that, visit the Blue Pond (青い池), a man-made pond feature in Biei. The blue color comes from the aluminum in the water from the nearby hot springs which reflects the color of the blue sky, and the Sulphur and lime have turned the pond bed white, which further complements the blue water. Finally, transfer to the hotel for check in. Tonight, dinner [Japanese and Chinese Course] will be served at the hotel.

Hotel: Sapporo Stream Hotel or similar / Western room

After breakfast, coach transfer to Asahidake Ropeway (旭岳ロープウェイ), which takes you to the upper station that brings you within a 2-hour hike to the summit. It is the best base for exploring the Daisetsuzan National Park, which is Hokkaido’s largest and wildest national park. It is also the starting point for Japan’s autumn season, so you can catch some fall foliage from mid-September! Lunch will be under your own at Asahikawa Ramen Village, which has 8 of Asahikawa’s most well-known ramen shops for you to choose from. After lunch, the fruit orchard awaits you! Enjoy a Fruit Picking Experience of blueberries/prunes, which is just in season. Thereafter, transfer to the hotel for check in. Tonight's dinner [Crab Course] will be at a local restaurant before walking back to the hotel.
