The temple is also a premier autumn destination, featuring breathtaking fiery red maple leaves surrounding its traditional structures. After lunch at a local restaurant, proceed to Osaka Castle(大阪城), a popular landmark surrounded by vibrant maple and gingko trees that beautifully contrast with its historic white tower. Then, enjoy free time at Dotonbori (道頓堀) and Shinsaibashi (心斎橋), Osaka’s iconic shopping and entertainment district. Finally, transfer to the hotel for check in after dinner at a local restaurant [Crab Course].

This morning, transfer to Amanohashidate. Here, board the cable car to Kasamatsu Park (天橋立傘松公園) and enjoy the famous “Matanozoki” viewing (looking upside down between legs), where
the sandbar resembles a rising dragon. After lunch at a local restaurant, proceed for an Ine Bay Cruise, where you can view the village’s 230 traditional funaya (boathouses) from the sea. Afterwards, transfer to Kinosaki for hotel check-in and dinner [Crab Kaiseki]. Enjoy your free time strolling around the onsen town.

After breakfast, transfer to Old Izushi Town (出石城下町), known as the “Little Kyoto of Tajima” for its well-preserved Edo-period atmosphere. Visit Shinkoro Clock Tower (辰鼓楼), one of Japan’s oldest operating Japanese-style clock towers, and Izushi Castle (出石城), the centerpiece of this historic town. Next, enjoy a Soba Making Experience and savour your freshly made noodles for lunch. Afterwards, continue with a Sake Brewery Tour, where you can learn about traditional sake production. Finally, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Dinner will be at your own arrangement.

After breakfast, transfer to Arashiyama and visit the Bamboo Grove (竹林の小径) and Togetsukyo (渡月橋), set against a scenic backdrop that is especially beautiful during the autumn season. After lunch, visit Shosenkyo Gorge (昇仙峡), where you can admire the stunning Sengataki Waterfall (千ヶ滝), particularly beautiful against the backdrop of vibrant autumn foliage. You may also take the ropeway for panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Finally, transfer to hotel for check-in and dinner.
