Day 3 Kochi - Matsuyama 高知 - 松山

After breakfast, visit Kochi Castle (高知城), a 17th-century landmark is one of Japan’s 12 original surviving castles, featuring a historic main tower and Honamru Palace. Next, visit Ekingura Museum (絵金蔵), and enjoy the eerie atmosphere of the museum, which showcases the mesmerizing masterpieces of Ekin. Continue to Chikurin-ji Temple (竹林寺), the 31st temple on the renowned 88-temple Shikoku Pilgrimage, famous for its five-story pagoda, lush gardens and seasonal scenery. Proceed to Nakatsu Gorge (中津渓谷), a scenic 2.3km riverside path known for its vibrant “Niyodo Blue” water, massive moss-covered boulders, and the 20-meter Uryu no Taki waterfall. Upon arrival, visit Beppu Jigoku (別府の地獄), a collection of seven spectacular, non-bathing hot springs used for viewings due to extreme temperatures up to 100°C. Day 6 Beppu – Aso 別府 - 阿蘇

Afterwards, visit Yufuin Floral Village (湯布院フローラルヴィレッジ), a whimsical open-air attraction designed to resemble a quaint English Cotswolds village, often featuring Ghibli-themed shops and pet cafes. Day 7 Aso – Saga 阿蘇 - 佐賀
