Day 1 Assemble at Changi Airport for Check in

Day 2 Memanbetsu - Lake Saroma 女満別-サロマ湖

Hotel: Lake Saroma Tsuruga Resort or similar / Western room

Upon arrival at Memanbetsu Airport, coach transfer to the Lake Saroma Wakka Wild Flower Garden (ワッカ原生花園), Japan’s largest coastal grassland, stretching across a narrow sandbar between the Sea of Okhotsk and Lake Saroma. Home to more than 300 species of native wildflowers, the garden offers beautiful seasonal scenery, with vibrant Hamanasu roses and Ezo-sukashiyuri lilies adding splashes of colour during the summer months. Thereafter, transfer to the hotel for check-in and dinner [Buffet].

Day 3 Lake Saroma – Wakkanai サロマ湖 - 稚内

After breakfast, transfer to Lake Kutcharo (クッチャロ湖), a tranquil lake surrounded by pristine nature and an important resting ground for migratory birds such as swans, ducks and white-tailed eagles. After lunch [Scallop Set] at a local restaurant, continue to Cape Soya (宗谷岬), the northernmost point of Hokkaido. On clear days, you may catch a glimpse of Sakhalin, Russia from the observation area. Next, visit The Northernmost White Path (白い道), a scenic road paved with crushed scallop shells, creating a striking contrast against the surrounding blue skies and green landscapes. Thereafter, visit Cape Noshappu (ノシャップ岬), where you can enjoy panoramic views of Mt. Rishiri and Rebun Island. The area is also a popular spot for watching the sunset and is home to the distinctive Wakkanai Lighthouse. Finally, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Tonight, enjoy dinner [Seafood Meal] at a local restaurant.

Day 4 Wakkanai – Rishiri 稚内- 利尻島

After breakfast, visit Hokumon Shrine (北門神社), the northernmost shrine in Japan, known for its peaceful setting and unique crab-shaped omikuji holders. Next, head to Northern Breakwater Dome (稚内港北防波堤ドーム), one of Wakkanai’s most distinctive landmarks. Built to protect the port from strong waves, its impressive row of Roman-inspired columns creates a unique architectural sight. Thereafter, board the ferry to Rishiri Island and enjoy lunch [Seafood Menu] at a local restaurant upon arrival. After lunch, explore the natural beauty of Rishiri Island on an easy hike. Visit Himenuma (姫沼), a tranquil pond surrounded by forest and known for its beautiful reflections of Mt. Rishiri. Continue to Otatomari-numa (オタトマリ沼),another scenic pond offering a different perspective of the island’s iconic volcanic mountain. Next, visit Senhoshi Misaki Park (仙法志御崎公園), where rugged volcanic rocks meet the clear waters of the surrounding sea. Thereafter, enjoy a Sea Urchin Harvesting Experience at Kamui Park where you can head out onto the water and try your hand at harvesting fresh sea urchins. Finally, transfer to the hotel for check-in and dinner [Japanese Cuisine].

Day 5 Rishiri – Rebun 利尻島 - 礼文島

After breakfast, board the ferry to Rebun Island, renowned for its untouched natural landscapes and abundant alpine flora. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch [Sea Urchin Bowl] at a local restaurant before exploring the island's scenic highlights. Visit Cape Sukai (澄海岬) and Cape Sukoton (スコトン岬), both offering breathtaking views over the crystal-clear waters and surrounding islands. Continue to Momodai-Nekodai Observatory (桃台猫台展望台), where you can admire uniquely shaped rock formations rising dramatically from the sea, together with Rebun’s colourful alpine flowers during the blooming season. After, visit North Canary Park (北のカナリアパーク), a former filming location for the Japanese movie Canaries of the North. The park features the school building recreated for the film, along with exhibits and anecdotes from its production. Finally, transfer to the hotel for check-in and dinner [Buffet].

Day 6 Rebun – Asahikawa 礼文島 - 旭川

This morning, board the ferry back to Wakkanai Port and visit Wakkanai Sub Port Market (稚内副港市場), a lively market offering fresh seafood, local products and souvenirs. After lunch [Sukiyaki] at a local restaurant, continue to Sarobetsu Wetland Center (サロベツ湿原センター), where you can learn about the unique ecosystem of the Sarobetsu Wetland, home to a variety of wildflowers, birds and wildlife. Finally, transfer to Asahikawa for hotel check-in. Tonight, enjoy dinner [Japanese Cuisine] at a local restaurant.

Day 7 Asahikawa – Furano - Asahikawa 旭川- 富良野 - 旭川

This morning, visit Shikisai-no-Oka (四季彩の丘), a picturesque flower garden set on rolling hills and known for its colourful seasonal blooms. During your visit, enjoy the vibrant sight of flowers such as tulips, hyacinths and pansies carpeting the landscape. Next, enjoy lunch [Buffet] at a local restaurant before visiting Farm Tomita (ファーム富田), one of Hokkaido’s most famous flower farms. Stroll through the colourful fields and admire the seasonal flowers in bloom. Thereafter, visit Yoshida Farm (吉田ファーム), a local farm in Furano known for its fresh produce including melons, sweet corn, watermelon and potatoes. You can also try the farm’s original melon ice cream served in a melon bowl. Finally, transfer back to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening free and easy. Dinner will be at your own arrangement.

Day 8 Asahikawa – Tokyo 旭川- 東京

Hotel: Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba or similar / Western room
